Our Programmes
Every child moves at their own pace, guided by teachers who know them by name and care for their heart as much as their memory.
A structured memorisation path, from Juz 'Amma to the complete Qur'an, with daily new lessons (sabaq) and consistent revision.
Correct pronunciation of every letter, rules of recitation and the beauty of tarteel, taught one-to-one.
Reading and writing Arabic from the Qaidah onwards so children understand the language of the Qur'an.
Age-appropriate lessons on belief, purification, salah and fasting, rooted in the Qur'an and authentic Sunnah.
The life of the Prophet ﷺ and the manners of a Muslim: respect for parents, honesty, kindness and good speech.
Dedicated classes for girls led by Ustadha Fatoumata Tunkara in a caring and modest environment.

Our Founders
The center was founded by husband and wife Mahamadou and Fatoumata Tunkara with one intention: to give the children of The Gambia a firm, loving foundation in the Book of Allah. Named after the great scholar Shaykh Muhammad ibn Salih al-Uthaymeen, rahimahullah, the center follows his example of clear teaching, patience and devotion to the Qur'an and Sunnah.
